Envelope docs & FAQ https://docs.slash.red/ Your work, its history and the people behind it, in one private place. A practical guide to using an Envelope Silo. Start here 1. Open an item in your Silo’s index to see its current version. 2. Use the version menu beside the title to revisit an earlier save. 3. Open Details to see its author, date and change notes, or copy a link to that exact version. What is a Silo? A Silo is your team’s private workspace in Envelope, made by RED. It keeps deliverables, working previews and their version history together. It is a place to review and develop work; it is not production hosting for your app. What is a generation? A generation is one numbered item of work with its own history. Its number stays the same as the work develops or its title changes. Related deliverables can be separate items; an item can also contain several files or pages. How do versions work? Each saved version has its own identity. The index opens the version marked Current. Use the menu in the viewer to choose another version. A new save does not automatically become Current. Older imported work keeps its original version labels, so labels can have gaps or named variants. How do I share an exact version? Open the version you want, choose Details, then Copy version link. A numbered item link such as /2/ follows Current; a version link such as /2/v/3/ stays on that save. Everyone opening either link still needs access to that Silo. Copying a link does not grant access. Who can see or edit my work? Sign in with the email address invited to your Silo. Viewing access and editing permission are separate. If you cannot get in, or expected to be able to edit, contact RED with the email you used. Invite and permission changes are handled by RED for now. This documentation is public; your Silo remains private. Can I edit anything I see? Editing depends on the item and your permissions. An enabled document editor can save new wording drafts; where source editing is available, it can save a new HTML draft. Preview controls may let you explore a design without saving changes. This is not a visual editor for everything on the canvas. Contact RED for changes outside the available controls. What does Get code include? Where Get code is shown, it downloads the version or variant selected in the viewer, with its compiled HTML, CSS, JavaScript and assets, run instructions and version metadata. It is a runnable preview build; it may not include the original editable React or TypeScript source. Treat downloaded work as private too. Does the theme button change my work? The light/dark button affects the preview inside the frame. It does not change the surrounding Envelope controls, save a new version or choose a new Current version. Can my agent edit or remix a generation? General MCP editing, remix branches and comments on the canvas are upcoming. They are not part of the current shared Silo release. For now, send RED the exact version link and the change you want. How do I give feedback or get help? Send Antimo or your RED contact the version link, what you want to change, and a screenshot if useful. Include the email you used to sign in if the problem is access.
